Om Namah Shivaya, known as the "great redeeming mantra," is the mantra of the Siddha lineage.

Om is the primordial vibration from which the universe has arisen. Namah Shivaya means "I honor Shiva," the all-pervasive Seif. When sung with pure devotion, this great mantra, chanted in Gurumayi Chidvilasananda's ashrams, has the power to purify the body and mind and awaken one to the experience of the inner Seif.
